No the DEFENDER600 has been designed to withstand impact of a vehicle up to a certain speed.
Spacing between bollard to bollard and bollard to perimeter should ideally be 1.5m, or a max of 1.7m to ensure a car cannot get through. To calculate: divide your opening width by 1.5m, this will give you the number of ’spaces’, subtract 1 from the number and that will give you the number of bollards required.

Bollard positions and Trench run for the cables are agreed. We excavate where required. The bollards are installed in the ground and connected into our control panel and your power supply. We setup the control for you and explain everything and you’re good to go.

A control panel can control up to 8 bollards. If you are getting more bollards than this you will need another control panel. When buying with installation we provide the control panel as part of the price
